2And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of the LORD? tell us wherewith we shall send it to his place.
2Dan orang Filistin memanggil para imam dan para petenung, dengan berkata, Apakah yang harus kami buat kepada tabut TUHAN? beritahulah kami dengan apa harus kami hantar ia ke tempatnya.
And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of the LORD? tell us wherewith we shall send it to his place.
3Dan mereka berkata, Jika kalian menghantar keluar tabut Allah Israel, maka jangan hantarnya dengan tangan kosong; tetapi dengan cara apa pun pulangkanlah kepadanya persembahan pelanggaran: kemudian kalian akan disembuh, dan kalian akan tahu mengapakah tangannya tidak ditarik balik daripada kalian.
3And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.
3Dan mereka berkata, Jika kalian menghantar keluar tabut Allah Israel, maka jangan hantarnya dengan tangan kosong; tetapi dengan cara apa pun pulangkanlah kepadanya persembahan pelanggaran: kemudian kalian akan disembuh, dan kalian akan tahu mengapakah tangannya tidak ditarik balik daripada kalian.
And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.
4Kemudian mereka berkata, Apakah yang harus menjadi persembahan pelanggaran yang akan dipulangkan kami kepadanya? Mereka menjawab, Lima buasir emas, dan lima tikus emas, menurut bilangan raja orang Filistin: sebab satu azab terkena kepada kamu semua, dan kepada para raja kalian.
4Then said they, What shall be the trespass offering which we shall return to him? They answered, Five golden emerods, and five golden mice, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines: for one plague was on you all, and on your lords.
4Kemudian mereka berkata, Apakah yang harus menjadi persembahan pelanggaran yang akan dipulangkan kami kepadanya? Mereka menjawab, Lima buasir emas, dan lima tikus emas, menurut bilangan raja orang Filistin: sebab satu azab terkena kepada kamu semua, dan kepada para raja kalian.
Then said they, What shall be the trespass offering which we shall return to him? They answered, Five golden emerods, and five golden mice, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines: for one plague was on you all, and on your lords.
5Lantaran itu, kalian akan membuat gambar-gambar buasir kalian, dan gambar-gambar tikus yang telah merosakkan tanah; dan kalian akan memberi kemuliaan kepada Allah Israel: supaya mungkin dia akan meringankan tekanan tangannya dari atas kalian, dan dari atas allah-allahmu, dan dari atas tanahmu.
5Wherefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.
5Lantaran itu, kalian akan membuat gambar-gambar buasir kalian, dan gambar-gambar tikus yang telah merosakkan tanah; dan kalian akan memberi kemuliaan kepada Allah Israel: supaya mungkin dia akan meringankan tekanan tangannya dari atas kalian, dan dari atas allah-allahmu, dan dari atas tanahmu.
Wherefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.
6Maka mengapakah kalian mengeraskan hatimu, seperti orang Mesir dan Firaun mengeraskan hati mereka? sesudah dia telah menempa keajaiban di kalangan mereka, tidakkah mereka melepaskan umat itu, dan mereka berangkat pergi?
6Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?
6Maka mengapakah kalian mengeraskan hatimu, seperti orang Mesir dan Firaun mengeraskan hati mereka? sesudah dia telah menempa keajaiban di kalangan mereka, tidakkah mereka melepaskan umat itu, dan mereka berangkat pergi?
Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?
7Maka sekarang buat pedati baru, dan bawalah dua lembu yang menyusu, yang ke atasnya tidak pernah dikenakan kuk, dan ikatlah lembu-lembu itu kepada pedati itu, dan bawalah anak-anak lembunya ke rumah menjauhinya:
7Now therefore make a new cart, and take two milch kine, on which there hath come no yoke, and tie the kine to the cart, and bring their calves home from them:
7Maka sekarang buat pedati baru, dan bawalah dua lembu yang menyusu, yang ke atasnya tidak pernah dikenakan kuk, dan ikatlah lembu-lembu itu kepada pedati itu, dan bawalah anak-anak lembunya ke rumah menjauhinya:
Now therefore make a new cart, and take two milch kine, on which there hath come no yoke, and tie the kine to the cart, and bring their calves home from them:
8Dan ambillah tabut TUHAN, dan letakkanlah ia di atas pedati itu; dan taruhlah barang-barang kemas emas, yang kalian pulangkan kepadanya sebagai persembahan pelanggaran, di dalam sebuah peti di tepinya; dan hantarlah ia jauh-jauh supaya ia dapat pergi.
8And take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the jewels of gold, which ye return him for a trespass offering, in a coffer by the side thereof; and send it away, that it may go.
8Dan ambillah tabut TUHAN, dan letakkanlah ia di atas pedati itu; dan taruhlah barang-barang kemas emas, yang kalian pulangkan kepadanya sebagai persembahan pelanggaran, di dalam sebuah peti di tepinya; dan hantarlah ia jauh-jauh supaya ia dapat pergi.
And take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the jewels of gold, which ye return him for a trespass offering, in a coffer by the side thereof; and send it away, that it may go.
9Dan lihatlah, jika ia naik ke atas mengikut jalan persisirannya ke Betsemes, maka dia yang telah melakukan kecelakaan yang besar terhadap kita: tetapi jika tidak, maka kita akan tahu bahawa ia bukan tangannya yang telah menyambar kita: ia kebetulan sahaja itu terjadi kepada kita.
9And see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast to Bethshemesh, then he hath done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us: it was a chance that happened to us.
9Dan lihatlah, jika ia naik ke atas mengikut jalan persisirannya ke Betsemes, maka dia yang telah melakukan kecelakaan yang besar terhadap kita: tetapi jika tidak, maka kita akan tahu bahawa ia bukan tangannya yang telah menyambar kita: ia kebetulan sahaja itu terjadi kepada kita.
And see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast to Bethshemesh, then he hath done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us: it was a chance that happened to us.
10Dan para lelaki itu berbuat demikian; dan mengambil dua lembu yang menyusu, dan mengikatnya kepada pedati itu, lalu menahan anak-anak lembunya di dalam rumah:

12And the kine took the straight way to the way of Bethshemesh, and went along the highway, lowing as they went, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left; and the lords of the Philistines went after them unto the border of Bethshemesh.
12Dan lembu-lembu itu memakai jalan yang lurus ke jalan Betsemes, dan pergi menurut jalan raya, dan melenguh di sepanjang jalan, dan tidak berpaling ke kiri atau ke kanan; dan para raja orang Filistin mengikutnya dari belakang sampai ke sempadan Betsemes.

13And they of Bethshemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley: and they lifted up their eyes, and saw the ark, and rejoiced to see it.

15And the Levites took down the ark of the LORD, and the coffer that was with it, wherein the jewels of gold were, and put them on the great stone: and the men of Bethshemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day unto the LORD.

18Dan tikus-tikus emas, menurut bilangan semua kota orang Filistin yang kepunyaan lima raja itu, kedua-dua kota-kota yang bertembok, dan kampung-kampung di desa, sampai kepada batu besar Habel, di mana mereka menurunkan tabut TUHAN: iaitu batu yang kekal sampai ke hari ini di ladang Yosua, orang Betsemes itu.
18And the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both of fenced cities, and of country villages, even unto the great stone of Abel, whereon they set down the ark of the LORD: which stone remaineth unto this day in the field of Joshua, the Bethshemite.
18Dan tikus-tikus emas, menurut bilangan semua kota orang Filistin yang kepunyaan lima raja itu, kedua-dua kota-kota yang bertembok, dan kampung-kampung di desa, sampai kepada batu besar Habel, di mana mereka menurunkan tabut TUHAN: iaitu batu yang kekal sampai ke hari ini di ladang Yosua, orang Betsemes itu.
And the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both of fenced cities, and of country villages, even unto the great stone of Abel, whereon they set down the ark of the LORD: which stone remaineth unto this day in the field of Joshua, the Bethshemite.

19And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.

21Dan mereka mengutus para utusan kepada para penghuni di Kiryatyearim, dengan berkata, Orang Filistin telah membawa semula tabut TUHAN; kalian turunlah ke mari, dan bawalah ia naik kepada kalian.
21And they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjathjearim, saying, The Philistines have brought again the ark of the LORD; come ye down, and fetch it up to you.
21Dan mereka mengutus para utusan kepada para penghuni di Kiryatyearim, dengan berkata, Orang Filistin telah membawa semula tabut TUHAN; kalian turunlah ke mari, dan bawalah ia naik kepada kalian.
And they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjathjearim, saying, The Philistines have brought again the ark of the LORD; come ye down, and fetch it up to you.
